The desk is led by Lloyd Godsall, a construction and SHEQ professional with more than 20 years of industry experience spanning trades, site management, operations and health and safety.
That path from practical work into management and SHEQ matters. A document has to survive contact with a real programme, real people and changing site conditions. Advice is considered against the work sequence, plant, interfaces, supervision and commercial pressures—not only the wording of a regulation.

Good support should help a responsible team make a better decision. It should expose missing information, explain why a control matters and leave the people doing the work with something they can actually follow.
What that means for clients
Clear boundaries as well as clear advice.
Remote consultancy can strengthen planning, documentation and management decisions, but it does not replace the employer’s duties, suitable site management or competent supervision. Where the information is incomplete, the risk requires specialist design input or a site visit is the sensible next step, the desk will say so.
